2 Categorical Data

Categorical data is the simplest type of data we will study in this course. Being the less structured type of data, it the most general, meaning that the methods from this section also applies to other types of data. This also means it has the least amount of methods available to analysis.

Given these constraints, it is the most practical type of data to show the most basic properties of probabilities and statistical testing.
